This visit occurs in parallel with the holding of the Algerian-Saudi businessmen council, and in parallel, too, with the international fair in Algeria that will open between the 1st and the 8th of the June, in which 20 Saudi companies will participate. The businessmen council will be led by Ms Yazid Boulahwajeb, for the Algerian party, while the Saudi side will be represented by Mr Seyed Aloudwan who is running, currently, investments in Algeria, according to what was declared to El Khabar by Mr Nazim, the responsible of Sabah bureau for investors services. The Saudi investor had built a petrochemical company in Oran. On the other hand, many Saudi investors showed interest in investment projects in Algeria, be it in services sector, tourism or infrastructure. Saudi companies, Also, showed interest in the petrochemical and chemical sectors in Algeria, plus the transforming industries like Amiantit Saudi Company that announced the opening of a company through partnership for tubes making. According to a statement issued by the Saudi company, the production unit will be built in Mostaganem, and it is a mix project under the name of Amiatic Algeria, where its shares will be equally divided between the international company Amiantit, and the group Lakhal-ayt. In addition to this project, the one initiated by “Feraoun investment “company that is presided by Dr Ghith Feraoun , where it bought 35% of the cement company shares in Beni Saf, along side with investments that are taking shape in the agricultural field through the developing of Strawberries cultivation , especially in the regions of the centre.
