Westminster court refuses temporary release for Khalifa
Saturday Jun 16 2007.
The English Westminster court refused yesterday a temporary release request addressed by the runaway Algerian golden Abdelmoumen Khalifa defense, before an appeal hearing scheduled on august 2nd, to deal with the issue of extraditing Khalifa to France.
The defendant board is still claiming once in 3 weeks to get the right of a temporary release, the fact the French prosecution refuses flatly.
The English court is to deal again with the issue along this month. The North Africa expert for cross border information institute Jack Hamilton excluded a temporary release decision for Abdelmoumen Khalifa since the French charges doesn’t allow it.
