According to Algeria Press Service (APS), a 20-year sentence has been pronounced against three other terrorists namely K. Ali and T. Ahmed from Boumerdés municipality and A. Omar from Deles charged with “belonging to a terrorist armed group.” The same court has also pronounced an absentia life sentence against H. Mohamed from Boumerdés charged with “setting up a terrorist armed group”, and a 10-year sentence against H. Brahim guilty of “financing a terrorist group and gun powder acquisition without authorization.” These verdicts have been preceded by pronouncing a life sentence in absentia against the terrorist B. Abderrahmane “chief of the so-called Keddara secret group charged with belonging to a terrorist armed group and theft.” Security sources believe however that this terrorist could be in origin of perpetrating several terrorist acts during the last few years in the region of Keddara including the murder of the Imam of “Amestas” mosque last year. | ||||||||||||||||||
