BDL owes 1.7 billions Debts to youth employments projects

Local Development Bank (BDL) Chief Executive Manager, Mr. Arslene Bachtarzi revealed that the Bank still owes 1.7 billion dinars debts to projects’ owners in the frame of youth employing support measures.
While assessing funding allocated to youth employing support projects, BDL credits manager Mr. Benabbés announced that up to the end of April the bank injected more than 15 billion dinars to realize projects from Youth Employment Support Agency, and about 1.73 billion dinars for projects from Unemployment Assurance National Fund, whereas the funding through Micro Credits National Management Agency’s projects reached 207 million dinars.
The bank decided however to reduce checking period of credit demands down to 1 month instead of 3 months. On another side, Youth Employment Support Agency General Manager Mrs. Fatma Seddaoui revealed the setting up of local counseling committees meant to examine project funding, adding that 325 thousand files have been examined, 80 thousands of which have been financed
