Belkhadem government adopts state structures reform committee recommendations

Unfulfilled projects to be achieved and religious teaching rehabilitated

The government program suggests reconsidering legal texts running the political life as well as the regulation procedures of state elected assemblies, noting the executive branch keenness to fulfill the non-accomplished workshops before the presidential term end.

The program elaborators mentioned the adoption of the constitutional revision by taking into account recommendations referred to in the report on state structures and mission’s reform report. The program provides for the rehabilitation of the state through its institutions adaptation to the citizens needs and to better its relations with them.

Belkhadem government plea focuses on the need to level collective and individual freedoms by introducing amendments to legal texts running political life such as the revision of election law, and those ruling parties, associations, demonstrations, and conditions to enter the Algerian territories.

The government mentioned the delay recorded in the realization of projects, in spite of that the unprecedented financial affluence and underscored the need to realize them before the presidential term expiry in 2009.

Contrary to the previous government programs, the current one draws much attention to religious affairs sector by upgrading religious teaching programs and developing mosques social role.
