New proposals for non-oil exports promoting fund

Ministry of trade secretary general revealed that the ministry has submitted new support proposals to non-oil export promotion fund along 2007 finance act.
Mr Amar Boulaarak said, in his address to the audience of the best non-oil exporter award ceremony, that the ministry asked for increasing the fund’s budget through industry and trade taxes, as well as reviewing the fund’s operation services mostly how and to whom providing assistance, taking into account exporters needs.
The ministry proposals are a reply to exporter request for increasing, merely, government support which is limited currently at covering transport fees with 25%. The latter is considered by observers among causes impeding surpassing 1 billion dollar incomes.
