8 illegal Algerian migrants arrested in Sardinia channel
They were attempting to reach Italy on a fishing boat

8 Algerian migrants have been arrested in Sicily Channel by the Italian customs said the Italian Press Agency Sunday.
The eight illegal migrants have been surrounded on an engine fishing-boat in the southern coasts of Sardinia Sea, 200 miles away from Annaba coasts, by the so-called Yellow Costume elements working for tax inspectorate which is a subsidiary organ in the Italian Military.
He source added that the detainee migrants have been transferred to a charity centre in Saint Antioco Island while completing necessary procedures for their extradition to Algeria. On another hand, the Italian authorities announced that the number of sink bodies pulled from Sicily Chanal reached 14, without unveiling however their identities.
