General Gaid Salah renew his call for reconciliation

General Ahmed Gaid Salah, People’s National Army chief of staff renewed the military institution’s call to terrorist groups to lay down arms and adhere to national reconciliation in the framework of peace charter.

General Gaid Salah call address was delivered on the occasion of two classes’ graduation ceremony in Cherchel Military Interservices Academy in Tipaza wilaya by the attendance of President Bouteflika and Home affairs minister Mr. Nourredine Yazid Zerhouni as well as the deputy-minister for defense Corpses General Abdelmalek Guenayzia.

General Ahmed Gaid Salah welcomed President Bouteflika in his capacity of minister of defense, chief of the armed forces, stating that his presence among the young graduates encourages them as they see the importance the President attaches to the leveling of army institution. He mentioned that People’s National Army executives are “committed to implement instructions of the president in order to meet professionalism standards and take up the new technological and scientific challenges”.

It worth noting that the ceremony was attended, in addition to Zerhouni and Gaid Salah, by land forces commander General Hassan Tafer, and the Academy’s director General Abdelghani Malti.
