Sanctions against teachers and directors failing to undertake effective surveillance missions

Gendarmerie services embarked on in-depth investigations after baccalaureate answers proved to be cloned in the examination correction centers in Kanshla, Mostaganem, Ghelizane, and Medea Wilayas.




In order to go inquire about the issue, correction centers directors ordered an investigation to be led as many high school directors and teachers in charge of surveillance in the concerned examination centers. Investigations even went through the quarterly results of students who allegedly were suspect with cheating in the baccalaureate exam.

In this regard, Colonel Lotfi correction center director told El Khabar that the investigation is about to end and will be crowned by the elaboration of a report to be submitted to the director of the national office of examinations and competitions ONEC, which is to suggest sanctions against teachers who have not fully undertaken their surveillance missions, given that baccalaureate examination centers are witnessing nonfeasance in assuring surveillance the fact that requires taking immediate measures to remedy the situation and avoid cheating in the forthcoming exams.
