Algeria’s Football Cup: Defending champions MCA winners again over local rivals

Algiers - Defending champions MC Algiers have claimed Algeria’s Cup on Thursday after a 1-0 win over local rivals USM Algiers, in a derby attended at Algiers 5th July Stadium by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika and more than 70,000 spectators.
Fodhil Hadjadj kicked the only goal of the contest on 72nd minute from 30 metres out. MCA Captain Faycal Badji received the Cup from the President himself, who also handed over medals to the players, both technical staff members and the referees.
