French and Spanish compete to win the company CNAN Maghreb

The Company of Management and Participation accepts the offers of “Actionna” and “Aigle Azure”

The Company of Management and Participation of the sea transport “Gitramar” has accepted two offers concerning the privatization of one of the subsidiaries of the National Company of the Sea transport “CNAN Maghreb” after of the opening of envelops concerning technical offers.

The special commission has refused yesterday two offers out of four, which have been presented for the privatization of a branch of the National Algerian Company of Shipping, according to the Algerian Agency of Economical News, while the offer of the Spanish Company ”Actionna Mediterranean” and the French one “Aigle Azur” has been accepted.

It is expected that the commission will soon take a decision concerning financial offers, and the case will be sent after that by the Company of Management and Participation to the State Participations’ Council to take the ultimate decision on the question, it should be me mentioned that the tender concerning the privatization of the branch of the National Algerian Company of the Shipping “CNAN Maghreb” has been launched last September and it is a company specialized in travellers’ transport, it has achieved, last September, a turnover estimated at 1200 billions of dinars, the company is employing more than 222 permanent workers and a number of non-permanent workers.
