Algeria : Cetel-Ericsson partnership

New cell phones in July

The director of marketing and selling of the national company Cetel, Mr Faouzi Baghli, declared that the marketing of mobile phones that were made by the company through the partnership with the Swedish group Ericsson will take place in July

After the deliberation of many dates, pointing out that the company is studying prices that are going to be adopted in the selling of these mobile phones. The prices will be competitive by comparison with the other mobile prices.

The matter is concerning, according to the same executive, the conventional mobile phone of V 79 type and which is aimed at all people. The second is the one that is fitted with a camera that has a stand-by period of three hours and thirty minutes.

Concerning other projects that Cetel is participating in, the same director unveiled, is the making of meters that use the anticipated payment through cards that define the consumption of people of electricity, and which were made for Sonelgaz. Cetel intends to participate in the one-millions-flat project by the production of conventional meters that use a digital system.

Apart from this project, Cetel invests for the time being in the development of communication nets that are affiliated to companies by using cutting edge equipment plus the development of media nets for these companies, and the sub-contract method in the electronic sector.
