Former Oran Prefect Bachir Frik has been convicted yesterday to seven years sentence with a fine of one million AD by Algiers criminal court which convicted the former Oran state estate director to 4 years sentence and 500thousands m AD fine




while Oran Promoting and Organizing Agency former director was convicted to 6 years sentence and 1 m DA fine. Estate Promoting and Management Office former director in his part has been convicted to 3 years custodial sentence and 500 thousands DA fine.

It is worth to mention that the accused were charged with public funds squandering and participating in squandering. Oran Prefect has already been convicted to 7 years sentence in 2005. Attorney Bourayou who defended Bachir Frik has accused openly some Oran local civil and military officials to stand behind this conspiracy case.
