Responding to a question following the submitting of the Government plan of action to Parliament, whether he expects the President’s to announce his candidacy for a third term before next March, Mr. Belkhadem said: “yes, I think so.” When asked to comment the declaration made by Prime Minister Ouyahia, saying that the Government 5 years plan to be elaborated before the next Presidential election Belkhadem indicated that he wishes such a plan would be led by incumbent President of the Republic. Yet, he added: “Whoever the candidate to win the election, he would be obliged of assessing the development program for the next 5 coming years.” The statement of both Prime Minister Ouyahia, and Representative of President of the Republic, related to the next Presidential election, are referring that the election results are already known, however the concerns of the country’s leaders focus on the projects to be launched during the next President term, rather than convincing incumbent President to run for a third term. | ||||||||||||||||||
