Canada will provide Algeria with huge numbers of milking-cows which are lavishly productive, where the production will match a 60 litres a day.




This deal is part of an agreement that aims at the reinforcement of milk production and the reduction of import invoice.

Many French companies decided the announcement, today, of the opening of offices and branches in Algeria, plus the decision of the Canadian group First Calgary of the investment of 600 millions dollars in Algeria.

The Canadian decision comes in the context of the will of the two countries in Alimentation and agricultural industries after the visit made by the Algerian delegation which was presided by the general secretary of the agriculture ministry where the Canadian party committed itself to the development of the partnership and cooperation in the agriculture sector, especially in the south and the development of milk production. In the same context, the Canadian ambassador in Algeria , Mr Peck, points out that the Canadian participation in the Algerian fair registered a high record, where the Canadian companies were almost 40 groups, and the list includes the biggest companies and other new companies.

In the same context, the Canadian group, which is a leader in the production and the industrialisation of alimentation products, especially potatoes “Mc Cain”, has decided the beginning in the marketing of its own products in Algeria as a first step, than it will enlarge its activities through partnership.

The Canadian ambassador declared the participation of the Canadian bureau “Dessou Soprin” for expertise and studies in the huge project of the motorway east-west. The Canadian companies show readiness for training development and specialised fields like mines, iron and still, plus other specialities like agriculture, alimentation industry, hotel business, tourism and restoration. There are about 67 Canadian companies in Algeria, and today other three companies will announce the opening of their branches and offices which obey the Algerian law. Also, it was announced the winning of three Canadian companies of serious contract in hydraulics sector and the opening of offices by two architectural expertise companies which are Cima Plus and Exerco.
