DGSN official has stressed on the importance of making more efforts to fight money laundering and terrorism financing. In this regard, Mr. Boualem Abdellah Rachid, the Principal Officer in charge of training at DGSN, said security conventions between Algeria, and other neighbour countries, should be updated in view of standing against terrorism and its financing sources. Meanwhile, the same source has stressed that the conventions concluded with the UN, and the Arab League, are not in line with counterterrorism efforts between the North African countries. Speaking at a lecture, the same speaker has indicated that Algeria has put her laws in conformity to the international law, while bilateral conventions on countering criminal groups through borders are being elaborated. Furthermore, relying on the laws into force, Mr. Abdellah added that judicial Police are enabled of undertaking a search procedure by night and daytime; after an order to be issued by the General Prosecutor. | ||||||||||||||||||
