The Mazouzi has shown regret Ministry of Foreign Affairs has turned it back, while praised the initiative of International Amnesty which offered a helping hand to unveil the truth. The Mazouzi family members have buried their dear son in Dar El Beida graveyard in Oran, in 2 December. His body has been extradited from Belgium to Algeria thanks to the help of a Moroccan charity association. However, despite having received condolences on her late son, Mazouzi family is still pursuing calling on Algerian authorities to open an investigation to unveil death circumstances of the Djamel. The latter had died inside a police station in Belgium, noting that he used to live legally there. His brother Zakria told El Khabar that he cannot stand the fact that Algeria’s Foreign Ministry has not replied any of the letters sent by Mazouzi family on the case of her late son, “who had been a national leaving legally in Belgium, and who died in mysterious circumstances inside a police station, while the latter had not notifyied Algeria’s Embassy.” In turn, Amnesty International Organization has promptly replied a letter sent by Zakria, in 3 November 2008. The NGO has provided the family with detailed legal procedures that should be taken in such cases, before offering a helping hand in terms of providing a lawyer to follow up the case. | ||||||||||||||||||
