Criminal Court in Boumerdès sentences 8 terrorists to death

Boumerdès Criminal Court has sentenced the emir of the squad of Bordj Menaiel and 7 of his wanted fellows to death in absentia. The emir had been eliminated by the security services last year.
The Court charged them with pertaining to a terrorist group, premeditated murder and setting explosives.
However, 9 people hailing from Bordj Menaiel, charged with terrorism support, have been acquitted for lack of proves.
The facts of this case reaches back to 2007, when security services arrested a terrorist, following information saying that he had been recruited by terrorist groups in Bordj Menaiel. He acknowledged that he pertained to a terrorist group, and disclosed names of other terrorists, who in their turn, had been arrested.
