Well, I would have understood if such words have been uttered by average people of limited awareness and knowledge, but, unfortunately it has been said by Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak and President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, as well as several political officials in Egypt! Such reversed logic, reflects, in fact, defeated minds that fear any Arab to achieve a triumph against Israel, because such a triumph would likely put their leaderships at stake. So what would theses officials have said about Algeria’s National Liberation Front (FLN)? They surely would have said it committed crime of crimes while founding National Liberation Army (ALN) and the out bursting November Revolution...How not, and ALN caused 1.5 million martyrs, and behind the mass destruction caused by French army. The way of thinking of those people means also that Egyptian Authorities, including Hosini Mubarak, had committed a grave mistake while declaring the war on Israel in 6 October 1973, which ruined Israel’s aviation and artillery capacities and destructed countless infrastructures in several Egyptian cities situated near the battlefront! The puzzling question in these weird and bizarre positions is whether Hosni Mubarak, who was among troops that fought in October War, can make any difference between loss and sacrifice that free peoples from slavery and make their heroism. It is the same question that I’d ask to Mahmoud Abbas, though he remains one of leaders of Palestinian Liberation Organization which had fought for decades and contributed in making the bravery of Palestinian people! | ||||||||||||||||||
