State-owned company of passenger railways transportation, SNTF, has announced that it has released an international tender in view of selecting a partner, which will be in charge of managing and operating passenger railway transport in the suburb of Algiers during the next 5 years.
According to SNTF executive managers, the partnership’s objectives tend to improve performance, productivity, reducing the company’s expenditures, and improving services quality.
It is worth mentioning that the electric railways’ network is linking only some sections across the suburb of Algiers, however, the qualified bidders should possess 2 contracts of derogation related to the management and operation in passenger railway transport.
