After its admittance of the non-efficiency of these services and the impossibility to stand the competition from foreign companies in the same sector, especially the ones specialised in the express mail. The bank company for post, of French nationality, is trying to have the contract and the participation with Algerian post in the preparation of a commercial strategy and the planning of the creation of Algerian-French Company for marketing missions. The director of communication in Algeria post, Boufennara Noureddine, insisted in an interview with El Khabar that the privatisation of some economic branches in the company grew necessary in this period, especially the ones related to commercial and financial management, where the company prefers to have partner with 50% of shares. On the other part, the same responsible confirmed that the deficit that is being experienced by the Algerian company is not only in the management of the express mail, but also in the management of financial procedures like the management of current accounts and the provision of services similar to those provided by banks. It is expected that Algeria post will issue an international bid in the few coming months to start the project “ we will give priority to a foreign partner which is leading in this field, thus it will not necessarily be a French partner even that French have big experience in this field. The same interlocutor confirmed that the agreement that was signed between Algerian and France posts will give its results in six months, where these dossiers’ working teams are studying all sectors that through them the development of partnership with France can be achieved, knowing that France post became a financial institution that provides the same services provided by banks, the thing that is the target of the Algerian-French group, which is working for developing Algeria post services.
