Blida accusation chamber considers the case today, with the absence of Abdelmoumen Khalifa

The accusation chamber of Blida court considers, today, the Khalifa case after the investigating magistrate finished, at Cheraga court, the hearing of more than 1000 suspected persons.

It is expected today that accusations would be directed to involved people in this case, on the top of them the president of the group Abdelmoumen Khalifa, and four senior officers from the bank, all of them are on the run in European countries. Tens of senior staff in the state, plus managers from Khalifa group, are facing accusations of public money wastage, the non-conformity with financial law, the transfer of money abroad.

These accusation could be confirmed by the accusation chamber in Blida court against a number of these managers, considering the fact that a number of them put the money of the companies that are under their responsibility with good faith according to their declarations before the two investigating magistrates who are in charge of the case in the court of Cheraga, knowing that a number of them, which is nearly 40 persons are under juridical surveillance, and other have benefited from temporary release.

In the same context, the number of cases that was transferred from the court of Cheraga to Blida court in 4 June is 129 cases, according to juridical sources. In case the chamber of the accusation of the court directed these accusations to investigated persons, the dossier will go to Blida court to receive the last say the end of June, or early July, according to the general attorney of Blida court and the minister of Justice Tayeb Belaiz in press declarations.

In case of the confirmation of the accusations, the judgement will be held in the absence of the president of the group Abdelmoumen Khalifa who is in Britain, and who could be handed out to the Algerian authorities in the context of the juridical agreement between the two countries, also 4 other accused persons who are in France and Britain will be handed out. The imprisoned persons since 16 months are 5, and they were ex-managers in the group.
