Algiers has not slept following the scene of joy, dating of the last title of the MCA in 1999, the scenes of joy have touched all the districts of the capital and especially the strongholds of Mouloudia like Bab El Oued, Place des Martyrs et la Grand Post et even neighbouring districts. During all the night the horns of the cars and the screams of the supporters have resounded in the capital, as if all the wilaya adulated the senior of the Algerian clubs, who has affirmed by this victory that it was the team of all the Algerians and that it benefited of a popularity without equal, a young supporter has told us “when Mouloudia is in good form it is the Algerian Football which is doing well”. The victory of the MCA has led all the fans of the club in Algiers as well as all parts of the country to go out to celebrate the event, the scenes of joy extended to different the wilayas showing the place Mouloudia has in the hearts of the Algerians. Before even the end of the match the streets of Algiers were already flooded by the supporters which started to ravel, when Mouloudia carried out in first period by a goal to zero, of Nourredine Daham, the situation has exploded after the end of the match and a huge traffic jam has paralyzed the capital until late in the night. Even women have joint the feast with their “Youyou” from the balconies of the houses, add to that the cries of the old and young people with songs glorifying the Mouloudia, as if it were a great festival of all the Inhabitants of Algiers. This cup which comes after seven years of the last title of champion gained by Mouloudia, also remove a little to the supremacy of the USMA which had the hand put on this competition these last years.
