The ambassador of Algeria in the United Kingdom, Mohammed Saleh Dembri, has revealed yesterday the broad outline of the agenda of the visit which will pay president Bouteflika in London on July 11 which




Will be crowned by the ratifying of two cooperation agreements in the economic field and the creation of a joint bilateral commission.

He has indicated that the operation of extradition of the Algerians of London, last Friday and Sunday, did not return within the framework of the agreement of extradition signed on June 8, affirming that the16 people administratively asked for their distance of London.

Dembri has qualified the visit of State of Bouteflika of very important and exemplary, he has declared in the emission “the guest of the drafting” on Channel 3, that this visit, the first of the kind will be the occasion to discuss the future of the relations and to approach and profit the British experiment in several economic fields.

Dembri has ensured that the agenda of this visit was going especially to include the signature of two important agreements for the national economy, the first which concerns the Promotion and the mutual protection of the investments and the second relates to the cancellation of the double taxation, in addition to the official signature of four legal agreements, who were signed on June 8 in Algeria.

He has added that Bouteflika and the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair were going to sign in London an official agreement to indicate a mixed bilateral commission which will have the role of promoting the co-operation between the two countries in the political and economic fields in addition to the question of the debts. In addition he has denied that the two countries took delay in the signature of the four agreements concerning the commercial field, civil, the move of the people and extradition of the criminals because of the death penalty which appears in the Algerian texts of laws.

He has declared that the United Kingdom knows pertinently that Algeria did not carry out of death penalty since October 1993; it added that the operation of extradition of Friday and Sunday was except framework of the agreement of extradition.
