This affirmation comes after a visit of an important delegation from the 17 to 22 June to Algeria. A closer source to the delegation has indicated to El Khabar that the Arab delegation mainly composed of managers of investment and financing in this company have got informed of many projects in the Energy and Mines sector, included in the frame of a plan of the company Sonatrach of the period from 2006 to 2010, these projects include projects of exploration, production, refining and petrochemical industry. In the same context, the same source has indicated that senior executives of APICORP have shown their predisposition to examine the eventuality to implement investment projects in Algeria and provide support through direct contributions of capitals or provide financing and consultative services considering relations that this company has with Regional Arab and foreign banks on 30 years of continuous activity. The delegation has met responsibles of Sonatrach, they have organized meetings with responsibles of Public and private banks and the National Agency for investment’s development. The delegation has ended its meetings by a private meeting with the General Manager of Sonatrach. It should be mentioned that APEI Corp has been created in 1975 in conformity with the agreement between Arab States Exporters of Petrol, Algeria possesses 5% of its capital, its permanent headquarter is situated in the Saudi Arabia, when Saudi Arabia, Arab Emirates and Kuwait possess 17% of it, 15% to Libya, 10% to Iraq and Qatar and 3% to Egypt, Syria and Bahrain.
