Belkhadem raises colonialism’s drawbacks

The Delegation of the French Socialist Party has ended its visit yesterday by two meetings with responsibles of the Socialist Forces Front “FFS” and those of the Gathering for Culture and Democracy “RCD”

Who have announced two press conferences today in order to present the results of their discussions with the French socialists, while the Chief of Government, Abdelaziz Belkhadem, has affirmed that “the Algerian people are waiting that France officially recognizes the drawbacks of the colonialism”.

During all meetings of François Hollande whether with governmental responsibles or parties, the case of excuses for committed crimes and the repercussions of the February 23rd law, glorifying the colonialism, always been on the top of preoccupations of Algerians.

Hollande has talked about what is as a mediatic siege concerning the same case. Belkhadem has declared in a diner for the visiting delegation after the press conference concluded with Holland Saturday, that the past of pains and tragedies has not to be ignored and to recognize it will permit to calm down spirits and to free initiatives. The Algerian Press Agency has reported from Belkhadem that the visit of the French Socialist party delegation in Algeria is “a tribute of friendship and an expression of a sincere will to establish relations between the two people based on the truth which needs bravery and the loyalness”.

He has saluted the position of the socialists concerning the law of the 23rd February, calling them to pursuit to work in the same trend”. The Chief of Government and General Secretary of the FLN has talked in his speech on the conflict of the Occidental Sahara affirming the support of his party to the fight for auto determination, he has considered that the Sahraoui case was “a case of colonialism extermination incomplete”.

Concerning the cumulus of the joint passed, the French responsible has declared that Algeria and France “have a joint passed which is the colonialism which has already been denounced”, expressing “his will to see the generation of freedom coming into another stage which is the friendship”.
