The revision of procedures to get “needy family” status and the opening of appeal offices in the various wilayas of the country. The three organizations point out, in a communiqué of which El Khabar has got a copy, that they have recorded with “great regret” the striking out of the lists of missing persons of the deceased among terrorist groups and missing persons from the lists of persons benefiting of national reconciliation charter measures”, even though their dossiers have been deposited into missing persons mechanism presided by Farouk Ksentini. The same organizations have also recorded some errors in death certificates related to missing persons and deceased ones among terrorist groups, in addition to the delay in handing over certificates to the concerned families confirming they have “deprived families” status to make it possible for them to take advantages of the compensation. The families ignore the steps to take for getting compensation; the three organizations make the concerned authorities responsible for that. There is an absence of sensitization campaigns into the specialized services and courts, they said mentioning, in their communiqué, several cases, especially issues related to death certificates and how to cross out the deceased from his district’s civil status records, since the death certificate is a basic document in compensation dossiers. The concerned organizations asked the authorities to accelerate compensation for those who meet the conditions among national tragedy victims’ families before Ramadan (late September) because most missing person’s families are needy families. The signatories of the communiqué have raised, for the first time, the victims of Berwaguia and Serkaji prisons mutinies, in 94 and 95, claiming them to be integrated into national tragedy victims in order to take advantage of the compensation.
