This operation falls within the framework of a new automatic system introduction to the National Company of Urban Transport in Algiers to be generalised then in Oran Annaba and Constantine. The company’s exploitation manager Mr Hellal stated that the automatic tickets system will get operational by the New Year’s verge. The international experienced German company CCS was chosen to introduce the automatic busses ticket system. As for tickets cards, which will be used later on, another German company “Melzer” has been chosen to provide the National Company with cards tickets’ printing machine. Mr Hellal affirmed that the new system can be used in future in transport projects planned in the cities such as the Tramway and the Metro. The new system is likely to allow the identification of the real number of passengers, and to rise up the company’s turnover as well as the National Company of Urban Transportation users’ number. | ||||||||||||||||||
CCS German Company sets up equipments
