In compliance with the 2005 complementary finance law, have led to a noticeably drop back of the importers number as a result of the disappearance of many of them, which number reached eleven thousand importer giving up their trade activity. The national Centre of Commerce Register’ estimations reveal the increasing number of the physical person acting as importers, just after the adoption of the new legal texts accruing to this matter, because they could not match the criteria. Given that the new procedures managing and standardizing the importation activity came into force as of 26 December 2005, the importers bound to give up their business are about 11 thousand in only a semester. A significant but natural rate, regarding Algerian foreign trade structure as well as the loophole that allowed people knowing nothing about business, with a capital below 10 million Dinars, and without a fix social headquarters, to practice this activity. Note recalling that the importer companies disappearance pace has accelerated compared to that of new companies’ emergence. When reflecting on the Algerian exports composition, the latter construes the Algerian production machine inability to diversify revenue sources and find imports alternatives. S.
