Mechanic and civil engineering institute underwent a two-days a skirmish as of yesterday between the striker professors who decided to supervise the exams taking place yesterday and those who came from Science and Technology University to trouble the exams good running. The Oran Science and Technology University witnesses at present an extremely tense atmosphere, given that CNES professors insist on pursuing the strike. They consider exams boycott as a right because the university administration breached the law when it scheduled the exams without convening the pedagogic councils, the exams are therefore unlawful, they stated: “we’ll use all pedagogic and union means to cancel them”, they disturbed deliberately the exams atmosphere by shouting before examination rooms leading to skirmish between the students and the striker professors. University internal security agents intervened to settle the situation notably in maritime engineering institute. In another hand the professors who decided to supervise the exams compelled the students to stay in the class rooms in spite of the disturbance. The students stated that “we understand the strikers stand but they have no right to hinder our studies good running”.
