Six Algerian prisoners are suffering from a hell of a situation in the Moroccan Kingdom central prison “Kenitra”.




A Moroccan condemned prisoner reported that they were subject to torture and said that life in prison cell is “a stored darkness” .whereas Islamist activists mention mortality increase in that prison, owing to malnutrition and degrading health care.

The Prisoner Ahmed C. pointed out from Kenitra jail during a phone call with Al Khabar that Algerians, charged by 1994 Marrakech “Isni Atlas Hotel” attack are experiencing bad conditions. The judiciary sentences vary between get life and death sentences. The Moroccan prisoner accused by premeditated murder and drugs smuggling, that prison administration in Kenitra prevented an Algerian prisoner family from seeing him three days later when they asked meeting with him outside visit hours for his father’s death related matters. As a result he got an anger attack and was bitten to death.

To recall, Ahmed M was imprisoned since eleven years, while the Algerian detainees are sentenced to death. Other Algerians are prosecuted for arms trafficking and embezzlement, the judiciary verdict was to get their lives, the prison administration, according to the Moroccan detainee, “the drastic measures against the six Algerian prisoners are twice as much more, since the arrest of 44 people getting involved in Ansar al Mahdi group case, charged with 2003 Casablanca bombings involvement, which took the lives of 55 people.
