Meanwhile the Algerian companies are to participate in five projects mainly in industrial fields namely food textile and chemicals. Mr Mokhtar Abu Youcef pointed out that the most important manufacturing projects in Algeria consist in Egyptian medicines packaging in Algeria, washing machine manufacturing in addition to the creation of TV sets manufacturing factory and cold industry. He further mentioned that the Egyptian investment presence in the industrial field is not limited to the aforementioned projects, alluding to other ones in enterprise, electricity and high pressure. According to National Investment Agency’ data Egypt is ranked the first in Algeria in terms of non-oil foreign investment exceeding two billion dollars. Noteworthy that trade exchanges between Egypt and Algeria within first 2006 semester reached more than 358.9 million dollars including 76.9 million dollars Algerian imports from Egypt and 282 million dollars Algerian exports to Egypt. | ||||||||||||||||||
