Benhadj considers the conditions of announcing a new party as a breach
Sunday Sep 24 2006.

The conditions of return of Rabah Kebir as well as his announcing to set up a new political party is considered by the second leader of disbanded Islamic Front of Salvation (FIS) Ali Benhadj as a breach of the authority of the FIS.

It also makes the ideas borne by the party since 1990 dispel, Ali Benhadj believes. Rabah Kebir denied such an accusation and intention of inheriting the disbanded party. There are no conditions or any previous agreement with the authority, he confirmed refusing the idea of plot.

In a intellectual and political live face-to-face organised by Elhiwar Channel Friday evening, Rabah Kebir and Ali Benhadj highlighted the vision divergences in the party as regards the national reconciliation and the idea of setting up a new political party which is to bear the ideas of the disbanded party. Ali Benhadj criticised the idea of setting up a new party out of the consent of historical leaders of the disbanded party.

He considered that as an infiltration in the ideas and the leadership of the disbanded party. He further criticised the president of the Republic for being unfair with the FIS as regards the national reconciliation measures and for immunising and protecting the army institution. Rabah confirmed that he does not intend to inherit the “disbanded FIS” but everybody can.
