Recently, many counterfeited and imported products which do not comply with health conditions were apparent. Official measures issued in the government publication are to be in force nationwide. The public authorities insisted on the necessity of including not only Arab language labels but all information and data on all imported products especially the expiry date and the necessity of not changing it. The country of origin of the product, the products’ and the importer’s name are also subject of interest of the public authorities. An official report is to be prepared by customs services to include all information about the importer and all observations done after assessing the goods. Consequently an authorisation is to be given by the control official after obtaining all information about the importer and the product. In case the importer is being refused to get his product into Algeria, he can present an application to ask for the reasons of rejecting his products as he would have presented all the required information. After examining the application, a second assessment is done and the first decision is to be reviewed or confirmed. S. Hafid | ||||||||||||||||||
