The explosion coincided with the passage of a train transporting goods near Zraoua in the Commune of Omar (Wilaya of Bouira). The bomb exploded at half past eight AM and caused to derail 13 wagons and to destroy 200 meters of track. No losses in human life were recorded. The concerned services and Railway Company teams intervened to raise a number of the derailed wagons. Measures were taken to restore the railway and reconnect it to open the way to the trains’ traffic. | ||||||||||||||||||
