The Algerian expert in astronomy participated with a project on anti-seism buildings. Bounatiro won two medals, the first for the design and the second for the respect of environment standards. The project is based on the Islamic buildings, the structures of which rely on circular shapes and arcades to support and help the resistance of buildings to natural catastrophes, whether earthquakes or floods. Bounatiro took participated with three projects for individual buildings, a block of buildings and whole districts. The professor had already won a medal last year when he participated in the same show for inventing the universal clock.
