In a press conference held yesterday in Hilton Hotel, he said on the preparations underway to host the Tenth Conference of Arab Business Society to be dedicated to examine investment opportunities in Algeria. The preparation committee has received 200 participation confirmations from Arab businessmen so far and the same number from Algerian enterprises heads. He expressed his hope to see the number go up to 500 participants. On other hand, the whole Arab investments between 2000 and 2006 reached 5.7 billion USD out of the hydrocarbons sector, which remains under the monopoly of Western Companies. Businessmen from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Emirates, Egypt, Palestine and Jordan, Mr. Omar Ramdane underscored. He unveiled the scheduling of programs of stories about Arab investors, who succeeded to achieve giant projects in Algeria, to be told by the Chief Executive Officers of Companies such as Egyptian Orascom, El Watania Telecoms and Sedar International. | ||||||||||||||||||
