Ensuring Sonelgaz sites : Italians offer their service

Mr Samuele Porsia, the Director of the Italian Foreign Trade Institute, confirmed that the Italian companies are interested in controlling and ensuring nearly 1500 sites for National Electricity and Gas Company (Sonelgaz) which is lacking control equipments nationwide.

During an address he delivered in the conference organised by the Italian Institute in Hilton Hotel, Sonelgaz CEO Advisor Mr Abdelhadi Slougui asserted that the National Company is in a real need of the Italian experience in the control and electronic surveillance field.

He added that the National Company has launched some national and international calls for tenders and soon other ones for sites to start as soon as possible providing it with surveillance cameras and equipments.

The Italian companies confirmed they will participate strongly to win contracts and provide Sonelgaz with its needs in surveillance. Italian Ambassador in Algeria Mr Giovan Battista Verderame indicated that Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi is to visit Algeria 14 and 15 November. The visit will be an opportunity for Italian companies to sign contracts with Algerian companies, especially SMEs.
