Jijel criminal court is considering 29 terrorism related cases in its 3rd ordinary session beginning next Saturday with 51 accused people in terrorist group’s constitution, accession and funding.




According to the session’s, the overwhelming majority of accused in the aforementioned cases are in escape status, including the former Emir of the Salafiste Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC) Hassan Hattab, whose trial is scheduled with an 8-member-terrorist group next December, whereas five have been released and two are under custody.

The other cases on public order crimes concern criminal group constitution, premeditated kill, assassination attempt, rape, theft, premeditated assault and battery, in addition to embezzlement, bank cheques fraud and tax evasion. The number of accused in these cases has reached 45 people.
