Algeria tourism still addressing great problems

Mrs. Hamitouche, a member of Islington municipality located in London which became the junction of Algerian nationals in the UK and the coordinator of the “Algeria-Britain League” association, considers that there are huge obstacles impeding the Algerian promotion in Europe and the UK.
She stated that the Algerian tourism position in the UK is bounded with family and friendship relations, noting by the way that the security situation in Algeria and the financial aspect are among the main obstacles. As for Algerian tourism echo in the UK, Mrs. Hamitouche stated that the lack of advertising by the concerned institution contrary to what other neighbouring States do is very patent. Yet, British people demonstrate their will to visit Algeria whenever they consult Algerian tourism publications.
When questioned about the association’s activity to make the Algerian tourism known, she replied that Algeria-Britain league organizes regularly social, cultural and educational services namely Algeria cultural day. In this regard, she called the authorities to provide the minimum requirements likely to make a success of such events so as to represent Algeria, for instance books meant to make known the Algerian tourism and culture in both Arabic and English.
