French entrepreneurs agreed that Algeria has huge opportunities for investment, expressing their refusal to be restricted by political controversies between Paris and Algiers.




The same leaders rejected the pretexts voiced by certain foreign investors according to which the political situation in Algeria and the vagueness of the economic situation are obstacle to the entrance of investments into the Algerian market.

The French corporate managers consider that as a meaningless move, which is aimed at the seeking of more privileges during the signature of contracts, and this through the claim that the situation in Algeria is difficult, and the inexistence of political stability. During our meeting with them in Paris, These same data were confirmed by leaders of big French companies that show big interest in the Algerian market.

The executive director of France Telecom within the international direction John Paul Gautier, that he is optimistic about the economic relation between his company and Algeria “we don’t see risks related to investment in Algeria, and we are enlarging our cooperation with Algerian companies”, pointing out to the success of France telecom trough its branch in Algeria Sofricom. The same executive unveiled his company’s intention to participate in the capital of Algeria Itisalat, saying that they know this company and its potentialities through services provided by France Telecom and its supervision on certain projects of Algeria Itisalat.

On his part, Jill Sosh, the vice president North Africa of Alcatel company, points out to his interest in Algerian market for years now. The same responsible complained about the take over of many projects in Algeria the Chinese. Mr John Marie Molina, the director of the market and cooperation within the public transport company and which is working on Tramway Algiers from many years now, through its accompanying of infrastructures building, and it is preparing for the management winner of the contact with the end of the project.
