A friendship and cooperation treaty is expected to be signed. The Turkish ambassador in Algeria explained that this cooperation is concerning politics, security, economics and culture. The ambassador Arkmand Ahmed Anch specified, in a press conference, held in his headquarter in the capital, yesterday, that the most important axes of the treaty is political and security cooperation, and the affording of appropriate atmosphere for economic, commercial and cultural exchanges. The ambassador unveiled turkey intentions to deepen its relations with Algeria, and this was obvious after the visit of the president Boutafilka to Istanbul in February 2005 and the visit of the Turkish prime minister, the foreign minister to Algeria in April of the same year. In the same context, the Turkish ambassador pressed on the fact that his country is interested in intensifying its political cooperation with Algeria as two important countries in the Mediterranean. About the visit, the ambassador declared that a high level delegation, including ministers and businessmen , the thing that will be seen as an introduction to the enlargement of the economic relationships and the number of sectors that Turkey has interest in which includes 33 sectors. During this visit, Ardighan will discuss the final version of the friendship treaty alongside with the negotiations about the free zone between Algeria and turkey which is considered the 19th economical force in the world.
