Several cases related to Khalifa Group under investigation

The public prosecutor at Blida’s criminal court disclosed yesterday that all those implicated in lawsuits related to Khalifa case are to be prosecuted subsequently, underlining that “those who are not charged in the current trial could be accused in the cases brought before Cheraga tribunal.

Mr. Abdelli, the attorney general, confirms that Khalifa case is not to be closed after verdicts will be given by the court as investigation into other cases related to the suit tried in Blida are still going on. “Somebody may wonder why certain people were not accused in this affair, but only summoned to testify before the court”, he says adding “Do not be hurry, it’s just one case among many cases”.

“Many lawsuits are brought before the court, they concern authors of money embezzlement, those who benefited of bank cards and other special privileges related to Khalifa Airways in addition to the affair of the 45 million euro transferred to France”, says the speaker.

Besides, the public prosecutor explained that the issue of the five seawater desalination plants used to illegally transfer the 45 million euro as well as another amount of 81 million euro is submitted to legal inquiry. “These are mere observations I wanted to underline to make things clearer”, he concluded.
