Qatar Telecom QSC (Qtel) has noted recent comments in the media regarding the potential acquisition of shareholdings in National Mobile Telecommunications Company KSC (Wataniya Telecom).
Qtel confirms that it has expressed interest to acquire from the consortium, led by Kuwait Projects Company Holding KSC (KIPCO), its shareholding in Wataniya Telecom.
