Speaking on the occasion of International Women’s Day in the Police High School in Algiers, the minister told al-Khabar the terrorist attacks on foreign nationals and security bodies were carried out by arms imported from abroad, mainly the explosions in Tizi-Ouzou and Boumerdes”. As regard the tough measures taken in Algiers, Mr Ould Kabliya said they “aimed at fortifying Algiers town as to prevent any possible terrorist attack”. “It’s also a message to those terrorists telling them the capital is safe”, the speaker says, mentioning the fight on crime as part of the security measures. For his part, Prime Minister Abdelaziz Belkhadem said in a speech he made on the same occasion “the fight on terrorism is still going”.
