The European mark Quick has opened yesterday its first restaurant for fast food in Ben Mhidi Street (Algiers)




The management of the net has been attributed to Bertrand Group which had benefited of the licence’s trade mark and technical aid in order to enlarge the European group’s activity in Algeria through the opening of 20 restaurants within 2012.

Jean Paul Brayer the Chief-Executive Officer of Quick has taken part in the opening ceremony of the new restaurant, and the European trade name is intending to open a second restaurant in Sidi Yahia (Algiers) next summer. A statement issued by the group has mentioned that the restaurant comprehends 160 seats on a surface area of 450 M² designed to meet all Algerian consumers’ needs. Antique Novelty Café had been chosen to receive the new restaurant.

The restaurant will stay open till midnight, and new suggested graduating tariffs reaching at a high extend 320 dinars, ensuring the local supply of fresh food and even exporting some products aiming to find local suppliers who respect both quality and quantity demands of the trademark. Through this project, 52 persons are to be employed relying on same measures of reception and services special to Quick’s trademark as far as majority of employees have benefited of high training. It should be noted that Quick is a Belgian mark which had been set up in 1971 and widely enlarged in France and Luxembourg; it owns 410 restaurants with a turnover of 807 million euro recorded in 2006.
