He made clear that the British judiciary authorities has shown a significant cooperation and agreed to extradite 17 Algerians. The extradition includes, according to Belaïz, all wanted by the Algerian justice namely the involved in Khalifa case at the forefront Abdelmoumen Khalifa. As for his answer to el-Khabar questions as regards the article published yesterday, on reliable documents indicating that the British Supreme Court abrogated extradition decisions concerning 4 Algerians among the 17 to be extradited, for “British fears that they will be badly-treated after the extradition in February 2006 of two Algerians”, he said that the mater is not so certain. In the same connection, Mr. Belaïz underscored that Algeria has concluded 53 judiciary conventions with European and American States on the extradition of criminals between them and Algeria. He further underscored that Algerian authorities are resolved to pursue corruption combating. It worth noting that justice minister supervised at the Supreme Court the kick-start of the cases management computerization, which will allow projecting more transparency on the judiciary work and to settle conflicts promptly. | ||||||||||||||||||
