Algerian indicted with Madrid assault mastermind support

A ten-year sentence has been pronounced by Algiers criminal court last weak-end against the Algerian C. F. for support to Moroccans involved in March 11 2004 Madrid assaults.

In reference verdict of the dossier, it had been mentioned that C. F. has left Algeria to Greece in 1994 then Turkey where he stayed in an illegal way. He met there an Algerian heroine smuggler and stayed with him in a hotel before being arrested in 2001 and sentenced for 6-year prison for narcotic possession.

F. C. met a Spanish from Moroccan origins who was a member of Madrid attacks perpetrators. The accomplice have managed to escape, the Algerian become then a passports trafficker helping Moroccan who perpetrated Madrid assaults and others, the last one has been a Tunisian under Turkish security services surveillance for links with Madrid assaults masterminds.

The Tunisian has been arrested and recognized his relationship with the Moroccan group and Turkish investigations confirmed the involvement of the Algerian C. F. extradited to Algeria in 2006.
