Misappropriation of 15 billion centimes electronic industries company

A deputy, two lawyers and several executives involved

Well-informed sources told El Khabar that the general prosecutor in the court of Sid Belabbas, will hear, before the end of the week, many figures, amongst whom a member of parliament

Lawyers and bailiff, along whom several executives and current and ex-senior employees in the national company for electronic industries in Sidi Belabbas, and also a number of the company’s customers who are retailers.

The involvement was in wastage of public money, faulty management, professional misconduct that caused the disappearing of public administrative documents. This matter’s events represent another scandal in the wastage of public money, especially that the sum that was wasted between 1996 and 1999 was estimated at 15 billions cm. The sums couldn’t be recuperated because of the in-charge lawyers’ professional misconduct. The company’s employees participated in the wastage by the facilitation of delivering goods with no guarantees, or the offer of bed cheques.

Despite juridical orders with executive aspect and which were issued against these clients in the context of the payment of the company money, nothing was materialised on the ground because of the lawyers fault, and also because of the bailiff who was involved, according to the gendarmeries services, in the wastage of goods under surveillance.
