Clashes and rake operations in Khenchla, Skikda, Tlemcen and Tizi Ouzou Wilayas

Four soldiers and a municipal guard have been gravely wounded in Khenchla and Skikda after a hand made bomb and mines explosion when militaries have been undertaking large scale rake operations in areas in which terrorist remnants are suspected to take refuge.

According to well informed sources, two militaries have been wounded after the explosion of a hand made bomb in Skikda. Moreover, a municipal guard has faced the same fate after the explosion of another bomb in El Maqtâa southern Skikda Wilaya.

Late last Friday, security services killed a terrorist in Tlemcen heights while another terrorist has been wounded but their identity has not been unveiled.

Some sources indicated that fire shots have been heard in a rake operation undertaken to look for armed groups after the dismantling of a support network in which 28 persons are involved.

On another side, joint security forces eliminated 4 terrorists and arrested a terrorist in a raking operation taking place as of Thursday in Tizi Ouzou. Security services are pursuing the operation to besiege the terrorist group in one of its refuges south of the Wilaya. Moreover, security services closed down all the way outs and raid the area with helicopters. Clashes also have been recorded between security members and terrorists in an attempt to flee the area.
